I’m saying ‘Sienna X’ a lot but it sounds authoritative so I’m going with it. Natural ingredients ties in nicely with the whol ‘not blinding bunnies’ ethos and the icing on the cake is that they use UK suppliers whever possible; they’re a trully forward thinking, British company.

The Sunless Tanning Process

When we apply a spray tan we do so while you’re stood in a tall, ‘roomier than you imagine’ tent. To ensure that we spray the tan on evenly the product has a ‘guide colour’ laced into it. So the colour we spray on you is darker than the colour you’re going to be wearing after you’ve had a quick shower. This is so that we can apply a top-up tan to already browned skin without going over the same areas twice.

Bottom line: don’t be alarmed when you look in the mirror and you look like you’ve been living on a Spanish beach for a month straight! Of course, if that’s the look you want then we’ll apply a darker shade and the shower won’t make any difference.

You’ll be dry in minutes but we suggest you wait a few hours before taking that first shower because the product develops as you wear it. In fact, it’s worth my mentioning that it’s the same natural chemical process that turns an exposed banana brown.

So, yes, the guide colour comes off in the shower. No, it doesn’t rub off on your clothes, or your sofa. As I say, without naming any names such as Fake Bake (oops!) ‘Sienna X’, is ahead of the game in many aspects.

Waxing is the most effective way of removing hair and obtaining that silky smooth feeling for both small and large areas: eyebrows, face, bikini area, legs, arms, back, stomach, feet anywhere else you can think of.
Hot wax involves a thin layer of heated wax being carefully applied to the skin. Hair becomes embedded in the viscous wax as it cools and solidifies. A strip is then applied over the top and pressed down before quickly being pulled off, taking with it the uprooted hair.
Hot Waxing vs Cold Waxing
Don’t confuse hot wax with cold wax – we don’t offer cold wax for one simple reason, hot wax is better, more enjoyable and way more effective. Cold wax involves precoated strips being pressed onto the skin and pulled off in exactly the same way you’d apply and then tear off a plaster. Not a very high-end process! Where hot waxing, when performed by a skilled hand is likened to the sensation of being slapped with a ruler, cold waxing is likened to being slapped with bull whip!
Waxing is of course a temporary method of hair removal, although it does cause a progressive and permanent thinning of the hair each time the treatment is performed. That silky smooth feeling should stay with you for between three to eight weeks.

Q. My nails are rubbish. They’re weak, they bend and they peel all the time, are fake nails my only option?

A. They certainly used to be the only option – in the dark old days when ladies wishing to give the illusion of healthy nails would starve their natural nails under layers of glue and plastic!
Nowadays there is of course (I know I sound like a stuck record, but it really is the best answer) ‘Bio Sculpture’

Q. I bite my nails. Help…me…

A. My response is always the same: get a professional manicure and restore some pride back into your poor nails. When you see the before and after photo you’ll literally think twice before taking your next nibble, especially since you’ll be niting through work that you just paid for! Don’t leave it too long before treatments in the early stages, stay on track with maybe one treatment every fortnight. Trust me, it’s never failed. Get in touch and put us to the test…

If needs be then we’ll get the big guns out and arm you with a cuticle oil pen to be deployed before or as soon as you realise you’re taking a nibble. Apply it to your nails for a sumptuous scent and trully -and I’m not kidding around here – ‘awful’ taste.

Q. French manicures are beyond my skillset, how do you do it?

A. OK, weird one this, but try to get varnish on your fingertip otherwise you’ll paint the white line too far down the nail bed and you’ll recognise your usual un-natural, thick finish.

Q. My nails are becoming brittle and flaking. What’s up?

A. If it’s not due to a change (for the worse) in diet or stress levels then it could be a symptom of illness. The actual problem you have is that your nails are dehydrated so short term, you need to moisturise and put nourishment back into the nail bed. If they warrant it then apply a protective layer over them. Prevent any further damage by securing it until you can get to us (or whoever your nail stylist is).
If the nail is torn but not completely broken off, wrap the fingertip with a plaster – first up and over the tip and then around the nail. Make sure you keep a bit of slack inside so as not to bend the nail.

Devote 10 minutes every day to caring for your nails, as they start to look prettier you will be less inclined to nibble them.
Consider having nail enhancements for a while so your nails have a chance to grow underneath – even the most determined nail biters have trouble gnawing their way through gel!  A few weeks might be all you need to break the biting habit.
Having short nails does not mean you cannot wear Enamel; even short nails look better with an application of Enamel.  A dark polish can look stunning!
Carry an emery board with you at all times so you can instantly smooth away straggly edges that tempt you to bite.
Regular manicures will help you to become more conscientious or your nails and encourage you to stop biting.
Our hands play an important part in our appearance and can influence our whole personality.   A woman with beautifully manicured hands has more confident body language, and will be more expressive, than a woman whose hands get hidden awI’ve had
